I am currently attending CEI (Computer Education Institute, in Carson, California) I will graduate 8-99 with my CNA, MCSE and A+ certifications. After graduation I plan to get my CNE and Windows 95 / 98 certificates also. As I am completing my studies I am currently an on site apartment manager for RK Properties. I hope to pursue my passion in the computer industry in the near future.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
1981-1987 United States Marine Corps
USMC 5 Marine, O Company, MOS 0371, Scout Sniper, Forced Infantry RECON. Duties: I was assigned first assigned to the US Embassy in Budapest, Hungary. My duties included protection of the Embassy grounds and personal. I was then trained at Quantico, VA., and reassigned to the 5th Marine, O company, as a squad leader. I obtained the rank of Sergeant and obtained T/S clearance. I saw 6 months of combat in Lebanon however most of my duties are classified. DD214 papers available upon request.
1987-1993 International Security Associates, Personal Protection, Los Angeles, CA.
During my 6 year employment with ISA I was responsible for several clients (names available upon request). My duties included but were not limited to the personal security and safety of the individuals and in some cases children. Also, I obtained the following certificates in: Executive Protection, Advanced Executive Protection, Offensive and Defensive Driving, 2nd Dan Nimpu, Site Security, Advanced Site Security, Handgun and Other Weapons Training. I obtained the rank of Senior Field Agent. I also taught clients basic protective skills.
1993-1998 Apartment Manager, Horizon Hills Apartments, Reno, NV.
During my 5 year stay with Mr. Stuart Brown, I was his on site manager for a 160 unit complex. I was responsible for ensuring rent was paid in a timely fashion, the renting of vacant apartments, the general building maintenance, kept records, and some light maintenance work. Mr. Brown sold the complex and I moved to Los Angeles with my fiancée, Evelyn Walter. She also helped me with some of my duties at Horizon Hills on weekends and late evenings.
1998-Present On Site Apartment Manager, RK Properties
After returning to the Los Angeles Area, I became employed with RK Properties. My Duties include renting of vacant apartments, complete building maintenance, record keeping, and ensuring rent is paid on time for a 20 unit seniors apartment complex in Long Beach, California.
1995-Present Web Page Design, Self Employed
While performing my duties above, I also have done free-lance work designing Web Pages for the Internet, using HTML, DHTML, and JAVA. I also have some programming skills in C++, Visual Basic, Paradox, and Basic, as well as knowledge of such software as: Word, Windows 95 / N/T, Excel, and the like.
